Headington to West 13th

Headington to West 13th is a high-concept fiction book that explores themes of female friendship, marriage and connection. The book is based on found letters between two friends. The women mused about their partners, vented about their jobs, and shared snippets of their daily routines—seemingly ordinary musings that resonated with authenticity and familiarity that defied time.
As the illustrations suggest, a more profound connection is formed through the narrator’s imagined surroundings. The design mimics the original letters and uses a soft blue hue to create a peaceful mood. The layout allows for generous breathing space for the text and illustrations that reflect the thoughtful narrative.
