Everyday Ephemera
This series explores the everyday vignettes of the world around me each one tells a story and explores our relationship to our environments; our homes, the objects we treasure or engage within the day-to-day. I like the messes that are left behind, and I want to capture the passage and the fleetingness of time.
Lost and Found
These works explore the lost stories and narratives of photographs that I have found. These images represent a moment in time, a milestone, a rite of passage or the opposite: a snapshot of a moment long forgotten or seemingly unimportant. I reimagine that time and place and reinterpret it through paint – a slow process that allows the story to percolate and establish itself as a painting. The act of painting allows me to process and deconstruct the fleetingness of memory and space and interject my interpretation of the story.
